Key Work
Many of the projects we provide come with an element
of mentoring, which we call key work. This is where
an individual is paired up with a trained member of
staff or volunteer in order to provide them with private
individual support and consultation. This is the point
where decisions are made on whether to refer them to
outside agencies.
Consultation Work
We provide Gang Education Workshops that are mainly
aimed at professionals to help them understand their
local gang issues and develop solutions. It is a full
day workshop.
Operation Sabre
This is part of our consultancy work and was formulated
to address issues such as knife crime. It is a package
for secondary school age children and talks about personal
safety (knife crime/violent conduct), community safety,
personal and academic performance. We have also developed
a gang workshop for practitioners ø this is a training
package designed to help professionals understand the
major issues behind the formation of gangs and how to
combat them.
