Hi, my name is Shaun Bailey and I am the Managing Director of MyGeneration. Welcome to our newly revamped website. In the last year things have changed so much for us and we thought we would share that with you, by adding more content to our website. We continue to grow at a fast pace, thanks to the help and support of our volunteers and staff team, trustees (new and old) and our ever present community. The other important element in this continuous journey has been our funders, who had the foresight and trust to back this growing organisation. Over the past two years we have expanded our family work and will soon be starting a parenting group. The concept behind our parenting work is to develop the skills of our parents which they can pass on to their children. In conjunction with Mind Gym, we have written a parenting tool in the form of a magazine which can be offered with a series of coaching sessions. We also wanted to move into new areas, such as health promotion – we now have a dedicated Community Development Worker who is working to improve knowledge of mental health issues in the community. This is being done in partnership with Kensington and Chelsea Social Council, Dalgarno Neighbourhood Trust and Our plans for the next two to three years are to seek partners to help us grow, so that we can continue to provide the services we have now alongside new services. We also aim to evaluate our work in order to enhance its quality. We have already had notable success with our expanded vision, examples being partnerships with The Space KC, The Mind Gym, The Kensington, Kensington and Chelsea Social Council and Kensington and Chelsea Women’s Council and the continued growth of our school mentoring programme. We hope to continue to provide the solutions and support communities up and down the country that face the same issues as us require. All the best Shaun
