This is a large yearly event where we celebrate the family and incorporate sport through organised activities. There is a carnival atmosphere which promotes community interaction and initiatives, as well as sports, rides, music, foods from around the world and 1st class entertainment provided by the local community. In 2008 the event took place in Horniman’s Pleasance , just off Kensal Road. It was a fantastic day with over 700 people attending throughout the day including the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea.

During the day, a five-a-side football tournament took place between teams made up of local community members as well as a talent competition, Karaoke and a free raffle with many fantastic prizes, some of which were donated by local businesses. The feedback received by the local community was extremely positive and enthusiastic and we are now looking forward to the Family Fun Day 2009, which will be held on 4th July at Horniman’s Park.
